Who Is That?
Who is that?
That person standing there?
Is he a rebel? A fighter? A troublemaker?
No his face is too relaxed for the intensity
those titles bring. . .
Is he a joker? A prankster? The King’s
court jester?
No his outfit is of a nobleman, to good
for antics. . .
Is he a prince? A knight ready for a
noble fight?
No his hands are too rough for a prince,
yet too soft for a knight. . .
Then who is he? This man, standing so proudly,
so boldly?
Who? What bloodline does he belong to?
For he is far too handsome to be a farmer. . .
The man is an explorer of distant lands. . .
He is here, in the kings court,
To propose an expedition . . .
An expedition to see who’s out there. . .
