Alone, Together

When we're alone,
I can submerse myself into an imaginary world...
A world were you are mine.
When we're alone,
I can hold you as closely as I want...
and not care who sees.
When we're alone,
I feel I could never be happier...
as if I'm floating.
But then we part,
and the rest of the world comes back into focus...
I'm yanked into an unhappy reality,
where I'm reminded that you're not mine at all.
So lets just stay here,
Alone...
and together...
Forever...
