Sweet rain drops fall outside my window,
Sweet rain drops fall onto my pillow,
Round reminders lay where they fell,
Soon they fade to where you can’t tell,
Morning dew covers outside,
Morning dew covers my eyes,
Leaves of grass tell my tale,
As my eyelashes seem so frail,
One more drop to flood the earth,
One more drop to prove what I’m worth,
Wishing it wasn’t now but later,
You were nothing but a traitor.
