A Kangaroo's Loose in the Zoo!
Over the bridge he bounds,
Across pavement and gravel and grass till he's found,
A large tour group of small children to scare.
He laughs and he jumps and they run everywhere.
What are we going to do?
A kangaroo's loose in the zoo!
To the lions and tigers he goes,
Dodging nets, darts, men, and elbows.
They wont catch him this time,
He's too smart for their minds!
What are we going to do?
A kangaroo's loose in the zoo!
As the hour nears lunch
He looks for something to munch
And no vendor of hot dogs is safe anymore
With a marsupial causing uproar.
What are we going to do?
A kangaroo's loose in the zoo!
Now tired and full
Being free's kind of dull
He jumps back to his den
To lay down, and then
There's and audible sigh from the crew:
A kangaroo's not loose in the zoo!
