The Real Pain
People think pain is a pinch
or a stab.
When it's actually when the heart
brakes in half.
People think pain is a cut
or a burn.
when it's actually a situation
that you can never turn.
Pain is not what you think,
it's not as colorful as yellow, orange, and pink.
It's as dark as black, red, and blue,
the signs that people never show a clue.
People think pain is when you fall down
or when you stab your eye.
When it's actually something that chains you down,
so you can never fly.
People think pain is when you bite your tong
or stub your toe.
When it's actually when your happy meter
gets to low.
Pain is not what you think,
it's not as colorful as yellow, orange, and pink.
It's as dark as black, red, and blue,
the signs that people never show a clue.
People like to trap in their pain,
in this one big picture frame.
Not wanting it to show,
so that no one else can know.
