Confederate and Union
Confederate and Union
Ones for slavery
Ones against it
So much hatred they fight
Fatality, killing,
Love, hate.
Torturer, fire
One makes me cringe
While the other gives me hope.
One is aggressive and brings the death and hate
One is just defending a person.
They ride toward each other.
Firing there musket.
One stands
And one charges.
A man shot
“He’s down”
Maybe hurt, maybe dead
You don’t have much time,
Only enough to pray
To say goodbye
To the world, your family.
You leave this world in an instant.
Never to see the light of day again.
Still praying.
I support the union
But I cry for the confederate
