Favorite Quote:
A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word, 'darkness' on the walls of his cell."
"The world is not inherited from our ancestors. It is borrowed from our children"

Green glinting bottles glare at me
Dense devils tempting me with small
Pink and white pills as rolling eyes
So small, so much control

I stare at them, wondering
The gaze expectantly back at me
Cherish last moments
Swing back my spinning head

A open window, a soft breeze
Sneaks into my room brushing past me
Sky encrusted with diamond stars
My hand stops in midair

Clouded images magnify my tears
As they course down my boiling cheeks
All the things I hate
Times alone, hurting, dark in the middle of the night

Thoughts spin in my confused mind
Of all the things I’d miss
Warm hugs, laughs, childish games
Think of a life

Am I capable of
Throwing myself aside?
I stand up, drop the bottle
Walk away
