You Say It's Nothing Personal
You say it's nothing personal,
But you don't wanna see me anymore.
You say that we should just be friends,
And there you are: you're headed for the door.
I'm sorry that it ended this way,
We both said things we never thought we'd say.
Shouldn't have kept it all inside,
Because in time we'd find the lies..
Building up. And now we're giving up.
You said it was nothing personal,
That you didn't wanna see me anymore.
But if you really wanted to be friends,
You wouldn't be rushing for the door.
It was you who called the shots,
Didn't try to mend the knots.
And now we're over.
Yeah, we're over.
