Favorite Quote:
No one can make you feel inferior without your consent. Eleanor Roosevelt

You've been trying for so long,
to morph me to be who I'm not ,
and blinded I simply followed along.

You didn't want me I was wrong,
to change me was your plot,
you've been trying for so long.

My sight was blocked by a fog,
you led me to an empty lot,
and blinded I simply followed along.

I listened to your corrupting song,
but there was a flaw to your plot,
you've been trying for so long.

You led me to a place so wrong,
where the presence of God was not,
and blinded I simply followed along.

You left me far from strong,
you succeeded I am something I was not,
you've been trying for so long,
and blinded I simply followed along.

A Villanelle poem, which because of it's rhyme scheme is said to be one of the hardest poems to write. Inspired by my friend T.J. who said I mastered every other line rhymes, and needed to mix it up.
