School is Back in Session
Grinning from cheek to cheek,
Is harder when betrayed,
By the hallowed halls that wreak,
Of tears and nothing made.
No, my friends go home today,
There’s little here for you,
Leave, do not stay,
To garner what is true.
Until all the teachers teach,
And learning is restored,
I shall have to preach,
How certain duties were ignored.
We can come back again,
When they regain,
Some sense into their heads,
And Satan quits their beds.
But ‘till that day,
We’d better stay,
Far away from there.
From there, apart,
‘Till they regain their heart,
And logic is crowned the queen,
This is the way it should have been.
For goodness’ sake, no person rules,
And the school it schools,
No education sham,
And when it’s done then… Bam!
School is back in session!
