You came back to me on Apocalypse Eve.
I knew because there were flames in the sea
And the stars were crashing around you and me
And you said it would take the end of the world
To ever make you leave.
Hearing you say that healed my heart, made it clean.
I knew never again would your words make me bleed.
But I woke up knowing it was only a dream
Because if you'd really said that, I would never believe.
