The War
Infant child, caught in the cages of a nuclear war,
sentenced by death to live through hell.
Walking in streets where headless soldiers fall,
in a forbidden city, where memories are lost to the wind.
Sunken hearts,intoxicate his mind,
as he swims through a sea of nameless bones.
Little infant child, known to no one but himself,
living in the light of desecration,
Surrendering his soul for the sake of a nuclear war,
pleading to the rifle to seize it's fire.
Lost lives taunt his memory,
as the infant boy is lost to the vast valley
of smoke, ash and fire.
