Letting Go
Today the sky is confused.
I had always thourgh the sky to be
Omnipotent,
But not today.
It's almost noon,
And the sun is just now,
Peeking,
Over the tops of the trees.
Saying, "Sorry I slept in today,
We all make
Mistakes,
Let me off this one time."
And of course the sun is right,
We all make
Mistakes,
And must move on.
Even if we are confused.
