In his blue gardens men and girls came
By seven o’clock the orchestra has arrived
The lights grow brighter as the earth lurches away from the sun
The bar is in full swing
Laughter is easier minute by minute
I keep it always full of interesting people, night and day
People were not invited – they went there
Came for the party
That was its own ticket for admission
