Blackness
Faulty judgment and a soft blue disguise
The blackness takes over and I lose your eyes
The creaking of frustration that never stops
The wandering and random and noisy thoughts
The breath that speaks a thousand words
But it’s so slight that it’s not heard
But the words that mean nothing to me
Are the only ones expressed openly
Where’s that shadow that’s always there?
The one that sparks and soothes the scare?
I’d forever relied on but never known
The love of a stranger when I’m alone
