Freedom
Drop after drop, my defenses fall
And I let go of myself
It’s been so long since I’ve lost it
But I recognize it so well
The hysteria within me
That I can never release
So I bottle it up, scream after scream
Piece after broken piece
The anger deep inside
That’s unexplainable
The highest expectations
That are unattainable
Dreaming of the sunny day
When my body can relax
My mind can settle down
And not move so Goddamn fast
My first and only priority
Is the one and only me
But I can only dream
Of the day I may be free
