Wind Dancing
I peered outside and what I saw
was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever behold -
the leaves dancing through the wind
the colors of red, orange and gold.
They traveled past kingdoms of bunnies and birds
past trees, skinny and bare
curiously examining nature’s complexion
as the wind whispered secrets to the air
Alone, but not, as many were flying
the leaves silently continued to travel
innocently darting the way of the wind
until it’s gone - slowly sinking to the gravel.
