"Buy the ticket, take the Ride"-Dr. Hunter S. Thompson

Whenever an Indian sheds tears on stolen land
Wherever a soldier sheds blood on foreign sands
Wherever protesters shed both because the took a stand
I see the means of the State, the ends of the Man.

Wherever demagogues and fake prophets promote an unjust war
Wherever sheep still die on the frontlines, but forgot what they’re fighting for
Wherever oil companies profit while boots and folded flags are delivered to mothers doors
I see Lady Liberty, raped, bleeding and beat to the floor

Wherever men and women are discriminated against for who they lie with in bed
Wherever free men stand up and spit truth only to fall with bullets in their head
Wherever totalitarian leaders enforce unjust laws with prisons and lead
Life, liberty and happiness are the pursuit of the dead

I hold these truths to be self evident
That all governments instituted among men seek to protect the rights of the powerful at the expense of the common man, by stealing and lying as much as they can, by keeping the people down with the clenched fist of the Hidden Hand. One Nation, under fear, with power and profits for the rich in the Clear.

In The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave
People cheer for freedom in chains, because they don’t know that their slaves
