memories of days gone by

memories of days gone by,
crowd my vision and my sight,
i lay awake and think of you,
in the very dead of night,
i remember days of laughs,
days we bathed in warm sunlight,
it all is coming back to me,
on this dark and light-less night,
i remember your warm face,
your voice as sweet as summer dew,
but i know you have forgotten me,
but i will not forget you,
i am just a memory now,
in your memories of long lost days,
but i will not forget you soon,
in my sweet memory you'll stay.
