That Summer
The silent grass surrounding me,
Warmed my shivering skin,
I turned my head, looking beside me,
His light eyes staring warily upwards,
I found myself following his gaze,
And staring into a million beauties,
That looked down upon us,
Placidly joining us as one.
They shimmered with distinct magic,
Lighting up the near-black sky,
My crimson lips quivered slightly,
As cool air pressed down on us,
I felt his presence all around me,
Shaking slightly, as he pulled me closer
Wrapping his arms around me, he broke his gaze
Now locked with my dark, yearning eyes.
