Kaleidoscope
We’ve traveled long and far
Far from who we are
And who we used to be
This long strange journey
Sends us haunting dreams
Where were you when I received that call?
The call that sent the world
Through the sun
Burning everything into dust
Remember the walks through
The ice of night
The stars shown brilliant light
The same stars we’ve always known
Looking for familiar constellations in the sky
Grasping, choking for something we recognize
Please just give us something we can recognize
We raced to the field that embodied
Our perpetual youth
We danced under the massive sky
Trying like hell not to feel insignificant
We were infinite, We were infinite.
