Brittany the Butterfly
Brittany was one in a million
Bright colored wings
All colors of spring
From purple to green
As I watched her flutter
My eyes started to water
It blurred my vision
I started rubbing my eyes
I opened them up
I could not believe my eyes
Brittany was gone,
Out of my sight
Hours passed by
Looking in the sky
Watching the thunder heads roll by
I felt a sprinkle
As the sky grew dark
I felt bad for Brittany
Fearing for her life
I went in the house for a sit by the fire
In the glimpse of my eye
I see a little flutter
I look on the curtain,
“BRITTANY!”
