Dream
They cry into the darkness,
Of winter’s bitter scream.
They sail across the ocean,
Of a long forgotten dream.
They think of those forgotten,
They face their darkest fears.
They wonder what’s become of them,
Over the long lost years.
They only have one last chance,
Their path is rough and long.
They realize they’d give anything,
To hear freedom’s sweet song.
They see the face of shining hope,
Like a beacon in the dark.
And her name is Liberty,
She sets America apart.
