The Gal
Frozen blow
Flow and flow
Causing shivers
Not newly known.
Shadowed shelters surround.
Creak and crack,
Yelp and break
Death in their wake.
Among the weak wooded town
A gal walks around,
Graced with a frown.
Pale legs scarred with blood and tears,
The gal stumbles on metallic ground.
Barely clothed,
Yet,
Wearing a coat of scars
The gal stays,
Stays fallen on the harsh ground.
None other passes a glance,
Though many have the chance.
Misery evident,
Agony present
The gal remains silent like a peasant.
