Hold On
My heart beats faster,
As you pull me closer,
Making me feel secure and happy.
Though we’re only friends,
Our feelings for each other are more.
When agony comes near,
You save me from all.
Me staying here is very slim,
Though with our lips locked,
And hearts in each other’s hand,
You save me from leaving,
Giving me everything I need.
As I step outside,
Ready to leave here,
Your feet are at the steps,
Grabbing my hand and pulling me close,
For leaving isn’t an option.
As we kiss goodnight,
You hold me,
Telling me to,
Just hold on.
