i long to feel the rain lash out against my skin.
silver teardrops shattering the peacefull night sky.
a shower of city girl freckles.
how I miss that wild feeling,
a freedom unmatched,
as i ran down the street
soaked to the bone.
piercing every puddle,
drinking in every raindrop.
innocence lost.
unbenouncedto me.
and again the loss of almost perfect sanity.
