Do I Matter
In November
Of every year
the candidates come,
face to face and ear to ear.
They think they have
the solution to war.
When all they fight for
is to win the score.
Vote me, vote me!
I am brainwashed to think,
that my single vote
could make the other sink.
The candidates say
that my vote matters
But with thousands of people
I feel like the foot of the ladder.
I don't think I matter
when November comes.
To me all I think about
is turkey and rum.
