What is it about me that you don’t like
Your grim disapproving face
What is it about you that makes me cry
You make me feel like there’s no space—
For me
You seem to turn and turn away
I don’t know who or what to be
To make you stay
What can I do
To be what you need
Who can I turn to
When you’re all I see, when you’re all of me
What is it about me that causes strife
You make me hurt; cut me with your knife
But I would never be the same
