Dear Blue Sky
I look up at you every day,
And all my worries drift away.
You pull me into my own little world,
And nothing else exists.
You make me feel like I’m on top,
And like it can never stop.
There are no problems in my life,
Only my goals and accomplishments.
These goals will never resolve in failure because of the possibility you show;
I know I’ll be able to move past my foe.
The puffy, white clouds you hold always comfort me.
In my mind they are a representation of peace, hope, and joy.
Please, blue sky, continue to be you,
And help others learn to do what they think they can’t do.
This all happens every day as I look up at you.
Truly,
A dreamer
