Sweat dripping from head to toe
Heart pounding
All the pressure
Put into one last shot
The drawn up play from coach
The players, the coach, the fans
All relying on you
The clock at five
The ball is thrown in
You come off one screen
The clock at three
You role off another
The clock at two
You catch the ball and step back to fade,
Drawing separation
Falling to the ground throwing up a shot
The shot of a lifetime
The one you’ve dreamed of all the years
