A Drop Of water
A Drop Of water
Gliding
Fast along the Waxy Surface
Of a leaf
As if it was running
High above the trees
Peacefully propelling
Towards the edge
Then resting at the very tip
Not wanting to fall
The leaf
Slowly drooping over
As if it wished a deathly descent
Upon the water
The drop of water then falls
Falling Fast
Hitting other trees as it descends
Who do not care to stop it
Speeding
Past the leaves, past the branches
And straight into the ground
Shattering like a broken glass
No longer
A drop of water
