Has gone by so fast
Nine months of pain
How long will it last
Nine months of trust
Have I failed in my quest
Nine months of reassurance
No, she tells me, now you may rest
Nine months of advice
From all friends of the heart
Nine months of actions
Good and bad, all played a part
Nine months of desire
That carnal instinct called lust
Nine months of trials
To try and earn your trust
Nine months of love
That I would never trade
Nine months of dreams
That I hope never fade
