Jersey to Georgia
The moving truck, with lots of toys,
Our lawn was filled with girls and boys.
Everyone is sad, saying farewell,
Wishing that our house, just did not sell.
57 Winding Lane, our house? Well, it was blue.
Lots of family memories, imprinted through and through.
Basking Ridge, New Jersey, is where we were to leave,
And once in Milton, Georgia, lots of letters we did receive.
Now we have all settled in,
Created a new home,
But I will never ever forget,
The first place that I have known.
