Life's Nature
The black silhouette of my shadow,
A stalker in the day,
But at night it disappears,
It completely fades away
We are never alone,
Because even at night
Darkness takes its place.
I look all around me,
And I see plenty of tall towering trees,
Sitting in the forest...
Is the best escape from society,
It’s great to see the grass rippling,
And being able to feel so strong and free.
The sinful life I have tried so hard to hide,
Hiding it is harder than falling down a mountain’s side,
Is now about to be judged and tried,
Am I guilty in God’s eyes,
As the sun sinks, will I?
