If Only
He is chasing me,
I`m so out of breath, but i must go on.
I look into the distance and i see a bright light,
so i follow it.
This light is blinding.
My body aches, but i must go on.
I have almost reached the light, it is within view.
So, i continue to follow it.
I reach the light,
Only to find an empty space.
There is whiteness and an empty void.
Then i look down and see blood in a river, far away.
I saw a light, and i followed it all right.
If only i could go home,
If only i could tell my mom she was right.
If only i never met that man,
If only i survived.
