Home Sweet Home
So many winters have come and gone.
The little grey house has seen them through
A battered roof and peeling paint,
And yet the sturdy house has pride.
These walls are solid,
And they give warmth and home
To the Bachelor
After a long day’s work.
Oh, he has found his true love - junk!
Nights spent fixing that darn car.
Then resting his tired feet inside
In a room that is plenty big for one.
Though some would look and say,
Sad, lonely, abandoned, and broken
To the rusty Bachelor,
It is his quiet sanctuary.
