Lost
Lost
Dancing with the devil in the pale moon light
It’s your defense mechanism against your life
You’re reaching for hope but getting nothing in return
The one you look up to is existent not to burn
When you look in the mirror you see no reflection
But instead a freak show composed of two directions
He tells you to make your choice
You elaborate on the details seeing only torture and hope
Your friend is standing in the right lane reaching for your coat
Stop you Scream
I’m not capable of going the places you go
My life is already mapped out for me and you’re not a hero
My longings to break free of this life style have all withered away
I cleaned my mind the suggestions got dusted- whipped- and tossed into a lake
Oh and to my recollection I burned some a while back
I have nothing anymore but these bruises from the whacks
Life in hell isn’t composed of light my mystique existence will always be a fight!
