Boardwalk with Two Hotels
That yellow daisy,
Such large petals,
Drifting slowly down.
“She loves me,
She loves me not.”
It’s an old game,
But just like tag
And Monopoly,
We keep playing,
Until the flower is bare.
A hand reaches in
And the last petal
Floats to the ground.
On it is written,
“Loves me not”
No matter
If we play as
The racecar
Or the top-hat,
Make it past Go.
