Leaving For Home
Make your words something good to my weak ears.
Make your choice something nice to my tender heart.
Give me a dream that last me my years,
And an emotion that will never part.
Sing sweetly to my oh so weary soul;
Tell me every uplifting word is true.
I don't know how much longer I can hold...
Death's cold embrace keeps crying, 'Release'!
My sight is fading, my heart grows still.
Yet my hopefulness, finds peace, not to cease.
I'm falling, twirling, spiraling, there's chills!
My body is decay, spiritually gone...
But now I can see light, my one way home.
