COLD
Coldness is all around,
but not just in the air.
Coldness is inside of me,
only because you are there.
I finally opened my heart to you,
spilled what I was thinking.
I thought it would help us out,
but I'm alone, cold, and sinking.
At first I thought you needed time,
time to think it over.
Later I came to realize,
you were just leaving me colder.
The sooner I saw what happened,
the sooner it would help me out.
But seeing that look you gave me,
just left me cold and full of doubt.
I have finally come to reality,
I see the lies you told.
Now you see how much you hurt me,
now you're the one who's cold.
