The word most commonly associated with high school.
It lurks everywhere;
It follows you around like a bad memory.
Known by everyone;
Hated and feared by all.
A harmless fight,
Becomes an all-out war.
Soon, stories are challenged;
Twisted, changed and repeated
By even the most innocent of bystanders.
It’s an invisible force;
That turns friends to foes;
Heart’s of gold to ice.
The glaring looks and snide remarks,
Are always sure to follow
