As I got out of bed I thought
another dark gloomy day
with no sun. Although,
it could have been adverse.
As the day passed
the sun came out
and the lake shined
with the rays of sunlight.
It could have been adverse.
I took my boat out
and went fishing.
It could have been adverse.
It was mid day
and I went to cook the trout.
It could have been adverse.
I ate with my two sons
the warm, rich, colorful trout taste so superb.
It could have been adverse.
As I fall asleep on the mahogany floor,
I think of my scheme for tomorrow
to be just like today.
\Even though one day it will be adverse.
