My Alarm clock went off.
School awaiting me,
It could’ve been peaceful.
Arrived before the bell,
Keeping my eyes open,
It could’ve been peaceful.
I pay attention,
Had to takes notes,
It could’ve been peaceful.
Had to hurry to class,
Before I get detention,
It could’ve been peaceful.
Finding my pen,
Resisting an argument with
My teacher,
It could’ve been peaceful.
Its 5:30 pm Friday afternoon,
No school for 2 days,
It is peaceful.
