Bla
I woke up, eyes blood-shot,
the room looked bla.
I left the house. In school,
the blank walls looked bla.
I left school to head home,
the empty streets looked bla.
Back at home, my house,
in its plain white paint,looked bla.
In my room, after the homework,
its plain white paper looked bla,
my eyes were no longer asleep
and the room was full and vibrant.
No longer will my eyes see bla,
for I am awake and alive.
No longer will the world seem bla,
until I sleep again…
