Time
In an old rocking chair,
an old lady sits with
all the time in the world to spare.
Thinking back in time,
digging through those memories,
she sees her kids running and playing
in the mountain-fresh air.
But times have past
and people have moved on,
yet she looks back in her book
to see those she loved,
now gone.
Pondering such thoughts,
she sits there each day,
knowing that time
will never be the same way.
