Breath as
Cold as ice
Digs unforgiving into
Every
Fiber of my soul
Gnashing and
Harrowing until
I can take no more.
Just as I’m about to give up, a
Kiss
Lulls
Me back to a conscious state,
No more to be
Oppressed by the
Past
Quarrels and
Regrets.
Silently
The
Unforgotten memories of
Virtue and honor
Wither into the
Xanadu of
Yesterday’s cold
Zephyr breath
