Holds magic?
It can't sculpt The David,
Or sing the National Anthem.
It can't feed the hungry,
Or shelter the homeless.
It can't mend a broken home,
Or fill an empty heart.
However, it can
Sign the check,
For charities.
It can draw,
A children's book.
It can design,
The latest trend.
A simple barrel,
With ink in it,
Can color the world.
But at the end of the day,
It's still just a pen.
