Someone Out There
There is a old woman in your neighborhood,
Who is bent over from carrying grocery bags everyday.
There is a little boy whose laughter in the his eyes,
Faded a long time ago.
Next door is a little brother whose all-time hero now rots in prison.
There is an abused teenager crying uncomforted and alone.
Nearby is a father who drinks because there is nothing in his world that goes right
There is a senior citizen that will never see her grand children
Across the street is a child in this world that can’t understand why the world is so cruel and cold.
There is someone out there just like you,
Someone you can reach out to.
