My Mama
She had her arm around me
Caressing my tiny body
Holding me as time was put into an impenitrable freeze
Her love traveled to me endlessly
Our hearts slowly beat as one
As a safe barrier flated over us
Nothing, no one, could stop this amazing fun
That we shared together as a family
Fragrant perfume lingered in the air
As we sat there together for eternity
We were an unstoppable pair
For a mother-daughter bond is unbreakable
Not anyone could spread us apart
Because my mother and I were
And always will be
Connected at heart
