Socks?
Can you tell me where all the socks go?
Please, oh please, when will they show?
I look dumb clad with just one sock
So silly with this awkward frock
Everyone sees that I'm displeased
Well, my dryer never seems appeased
As is gobbled each and every match
From each and every laundry batch
I put two in but one comes out
It makes me want to scream and shout
But oh, I feel so silly now
My family seems a bit highbrow
For pitching such a lovely fit
I know it's daft, I will admit
But there's gonna be some hell to pay
If that dryer eats my socks today
